Sheesh! Another jury summons! They can only legally call upon you once every 12 months ... and I was last called for June 14, 2010. Now I'm called for June 20, 2011. Dude! Aren't there other people in the county you could call? I don't mind, really -- I have more free time than most -- but I find it mildly amusing that they can't even give me 12 ( Read more... )

I didn't actually have to go to downtown Oakland to wait in the loooooong line to get through security at the Oakland courthouse today, because they didn't need me for jury duty. Cool.
